We are an ISO 9001 2015 certified precision machine and fabrication company specializing in full-service milling, turning, and manual services. Orion Machining & Design is founded on over 20 years of active manufacturing excellence offering a multitude of machining and design solutions. In 2022 we expanded to Brooks, AB and we currently operate 12,000 square-foot full-service facilities both there and at our original location in Lloydminster, AB.
Our extensive expertise and capabilities enable us to fulfill the needs of our clients regardless of urgency or project size. Our commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and on-time delivery has made Orion Machining & Design a preferred provider to business partners in the Energy, Farming, and Mining industries.
Shawn Davidson General Manager
Shawn has been with Orion since entering the work force over 15 years ago. Shawn has taken a role in every leadership position during his tenure. His involvement with customers has provided him with knowledge of the various requirements for the various industries serviced. He has been an integral part of leading the company through its largest growth cycle by focusing on integrity, honesty, and superior quality as core value.
Shawn has a passion for sports and the outdoors. When not at work, spending quality family time at the lake is where you will find him.
Warren Tymchak Operations Manager
Warren Tymchak joined the Orion team over 15 years ago bringing with him a variety of work experience. Warren is a journeyman machinist from Saskatoon SIAST and has over 29 years combined experience in manufacturing, industrial processes, hydraulics repair and rebuilding, production, mining, power generation, and agricultural.
For the last 16 years Warren has been a resident of Lloydminster and volunteers his time with the Midwest Amateur Motocross series assisting people and families into the sport of Motocross by providing a safe and fun environment.

Orion Machining and Design is a machining and fabrication company with roots of foundation in Lloydminster, AB back to 1994. In 2022, Orion Machining and Design expanded to Brooks, AB to provide additional capacity and location flexibility to our clients.
